Our Story

Located in Milford, DE, Dolce has been a local favorite for almost 20 years.

Dolcé Bakery and Coffee Shop was born in 2004 in the small quiet downtown of Milford, Delaware at 36 N. Walnut St. Since then, many things have changed around Milford and around the bakery, but one thing that has not is the homemade, from scratch pastries at Dolcé. We have won awards for our famous Gluten Free Gooey Chocolate Cookies and our Mispillion Muds. Do not forget about those cinnamon rolls, though! They are always a big hit! Looking for something more on the savory side or a more healthy alternative? Try our homemade savory croissants and build your own açaí bowls. Our house coffee and espresso are both, organic fair-trade roasts that are roasted local to the Eastern Shore in Easton, Maryland by Rise Up Coffee. Not a coffee fan? Not to worry! We have smoothies, refreshers, matcha, cane sugar sodas, and infused red bulls as well!

Our hope is that you come and enjoy a cup of coffee or other delicious beverage and a fresh baked pastry, experience downtown Milford, DE (especially if it’s a Farmer’s Market Saturday!), get some work done in any of our outlet accessible tables available, or get to know someone new!
